“To love the Heart of Jesus and make it loved.”
The main mission of the Servantes du Coeur de Jésus is the reparatory adoration of the Heart of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. From the presence of Jesus made visible in the sacrament of the Eucharist, stems their call to “love him and make him loved”. This contemplative prayer is the pivotal lieu of their life commitment as religious. There, they discover Christ’s love for humanity and hear his complaint to St. Margaret Mary Alacoque that this loving heart is not sufficiently loved in return. By their daily gathering with Him, they commit themselves to respond to the call of Jesus Christ and to bring the miseries of the world into his face. The faithful contemplation of the loving and suffering Jesus is the main source through which they listen to the challenges of our time. They also have this mission of praise to celebrate every day the liturgy of hours, in union with the universal Church.
“The community comes together every day to offer the different parts of the Office”. (Cts 62)

The Servants of the Heart of Jesus are present in four countries
At the call of the Pope, the congregation of the Servants of the Heart of Jesus sends the sisters on mission in Bafoussam in Cameroon. In 1956, three religious begin their apostolic service by welcoming the poorest, teaching young girls, caring for the sick and parish activities. From 1970 they are call upon to lead an attentive and patient caring for people affected by the leprosy and stigmatized by disease. After several years, care at home and the clinics pays off because the leper disappears from this region. The sisters receive recognition from the cameroonian state for the work accomplished with the most fragile and the poorest. Thanks to calls for donations, the elderly can be hospitalized. The first aspirants arrive in 1990 and the noviciat is born in 1993 in the Bankouop community. Today, the Servants of the Heart of Jesus are present in Bafoussam and Nkongsamba where they are faithful to the charism of their foundress.
The religious also open a second community in the village of Terqué in 1985 to accommodate elderly people in residence. The spanish community of Servants is given mission in San Pedro and Cantalejo.
It is finally in Urda in the diocese of Toledo that the community moved in 2002. It is in this place that the Servants of the heart of Jesus are installed today and live from their mission of adoration of Jesus in the Eucharist and the reception of those who come on pilgrimage to the sanctuary of Christ.
Today, the Servants of the Heart of Jesus live in Scy-Chazelles, Moselle. It is in a house given to the congregation community to make the perpetual adoration of the Holy Sacrament that the nuns live from the charisma of their founder. The community of Scy-Chazelles is the mother house of the Servants of the Heart of Jesus. It is open to the reception of single people or in groups, for a time of reflection, or spiritual retreat.
