Our mission

To love the Heart of Jesus and make it loved.
We are at the service of our brothers and sisters in humanity through the adoration of the blessed sacrament and the welcome.

“To love the Heart of Jesus and make it loved.”

The main mission of the Servantes du Coeur de Jésus is the reparatory adoration of the Heart of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. From the presence of Jesus made visible in the sacrament of the Eucharist, stems their call to “love him and make him loved”. This contemplative prayer is the pivotal lieu of their life commitment as religious. There, they discover Christ’s love for humanity and hear his complaint to St. Margaret Mary Alacoque that this loving heart is not sufficiently loved in return. By their daily gathering with Him, they commit themselves to respond to the call of Jesus Christ and to bring the miseries of the world into his face. The faithful contemplation of the loving and suffering Jesus is the main source through which they listen to the challenges of our time. They also have this mission of praise to celebrate every day the liturgy of hours, in union with the universal Church.

“The community comes together every day to offer the different parts of the Office”. (Cts 62)

Serving God and our brothers

Faithful to the prayer that directs and fertilizes the action, they take part in the church’s mission of goodness and salvation of Christ. Their concern goes to the poor, to those who suffer. The Founder has oriented their apostolic spirit towards the underprivileged, without specifying a specific work and place, so their activity materializes in different ways: the human and Christian formation of children, young people and adults; the care and support of people suffering from the disease, people who suffer from loneliness in their old age; People with disabilities Engagement in parishes; welcome for times of prayer, reflection, rest…
